Jin-Ki Kim received his B.S in Pharmacy in 1998, and his Ph.d. in Physical Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) from Seoul National University in 2005. He worked as a Senior Scientist at Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciensces, Seoul National University from 2005 to 2006 and at Research Division for Applied Pharmaceutical Life Sciences (Brain Korea 21 Project), Seoul National University. During the period 2007-2011, he worked in University of Mississippi and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Postdoctroal Fellow and Research Associate, respectively. He joined the faculty at College of Pharmacy, Hanyang University in 2011 where he teaches graduate student courses in Nanomedicine and Disperse System, and Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery System for pharmacy student.
His current research interests are tissue-targeting drug delivery system, solubilization and enhancement of bioavailability of water-poorly solublel drugs, lipid-based nanoparticulate system, theranostic nanoparticies for anticancer therapy, and bioresponsive drug delivery system. He has published more than 30 research articles including ACS Nano, Small, Molecular Pharmaceutics and Journal of Controlled Release, and several patents in drug delivery areas.
